Season's greetings!  The other night I got obsessed with the Coventry Carol, a very old song that was not actually originally associated with Christmas but has since entered the canon of traditional Christmas carols.   It's a melancholy tune with a jarring "Picardy third" ending on a major chord. I got to fooling around with it and came up with an arrangement in C minor - I haven't worked it up well enough to do a recording yet, but the notation & midi are attached.

Many thanks, Andy. This is one of my favorite carols. It is a chilling vocal that I have heard the New England group, Nowell Sing We Clear, perform.
