Clifford Essex a man before his time!

I noticed that someone was selling pages from an old book about UK Music Hall entertainers from the early 1900s and immediately realised that Clifford Essex must have been years ahead of his time, as he was undoubtedly the inspiration for a 1990s computer game “Day of the Tentacle”.

Ah, well there you have it, proof that 1990s video game music (and content) has been deliberately stolen from our Classic Banjo repertoire! Did you notice how perfectly the Monkey Island theme falls on the fingerboard? Coincidence? I think not!
