Hi all,
Just got back into the classic banjo again after about 17 years away (I know, terrible). I was 10 when I was taught by the late great Brian Jacklin and played in his Cheshire Jack Lynn Frets Orchestra for around 5 years. Having been contacted by Brian's daughter Shirlee I finally went to rehearse with the orchestra last Thursday night and I really enjoyed it. Amazing what you remember and also what you forget! With some more practice I'm sure I'll get up to speed again.
Any other banjo players in the Cheshire area? I live in Crewe.
