Backwell Banjo Rally - 8th September 2012

The Backwell Classic Fingerstyle Banjo Rally will be held at the WI Hall in Backwell on the 8th September 2012, starting at 12 noon until 5pm. Admission is £3.50

The community tunes have now been decided, and are as follows:-

Whistling Rufus

Cupid's Victory

Cromartie Polka March

Skeleton Dance

Banjo Oddity

Man the Guns

Rugby Parade

Ladbroke March

I will prepare booklets with all the music in for first and second parts for anyone to use on the day - and they can keep them. Chords will also be marked on the second parts if anyone does not think that they can sight read well enough.

Light refreshments and drinks will be available until 4:30pm. There will also be stalls available for anyone wanting to trade instruments or parts or whatever.

 

The playing will continue at the Bridge Inn in Yatton, where all types of instrument are usually found!!

Man! Here's a rally designed for me...all tunes I know and have played except one (Cromartie).

Hmmmm...too bad the bridge is out. I can't swim that far. ;-)
