Alf Lane - hilarious

I’ve just spent an enjoyable ten minutes or so listening to Alf Lane’s recording in the ‘Original Recordings’ section of this forum, where he discusses and demonstrates ‘sostenuto’ or tremolo. Everybody got it wrong except Alf, so he seems to claim, and not without some humour. 

Tremolo is not a technique I’ve ever bothered to learn, but I might have a bash at it, with Alf in mind - though bash is not at all the word to use. He would have regarded me as a poor student, and rightly so.
