A piece suitable for beginners to the Classic Style

I recently received an email from Eric Womersley in which he has included, notation and his Tablature for a pice he thinks will be useful for beginners to the style:

“I came across this while on You Tube. It's from Weidt's Elementary Studies Book 1.

The Fairies Waltz

What caught my eye was:

~ The need to use the second finger while holding the C Chord (Steve and I talked about this during our last lesson).

 

~ It has a jump to the seventh fret via the 5th string.

 

~ It works the little finger on the 4th string.

As such, I think it makes a really good beginner piece so I have tabbed it out in C rather than A which itself has been a good reading exercise.”
