Mike Redman sent me this update on the UK Backwell Classic Banjo Rally on Saturday September 5th

Hi everyone

Here is the suggested list of community tunes for next Saturday.  Yes they are the same as last year, it was easier than producing new booklets.

Park Crescent March
Return of the Regiment
Rugby Parade
Sunflower Dance
Whistling Rufus
A Banjo Oddity
Donkey Laugh

Colin, Dave and Anthony have everything in hand to ensure the Banjo Rally runs smoothly and Rosemary and Mary have kindly offered their services again to keep everyone refreshed with copious amounts of tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes and sandwiches.

Not that I will be in attendance...but I would like a copy of the dots to "Park Crescent March", if anyone has 'em. I don't seem to have a copy. I have the rest and all but "Park Crescent" and "Return of the Regiment" already Tabbed out.

I wish I could go...I have three of the tunes 'in active memory' and can wallow thru reading another.

Marc, no problem - it was the first tune we used in last week's Whitby workshop, we manged to get a dozen people of mixed ability playing it at a reasonable pace in an hour. So no pressure!

LOL. I may actually have the dots...at least I have mentioned them in an old database I dug up. Now I have to go thru the stacks and see if I can turn up the actual sheets for PCM.

Ach...I'm stupid. We talked about this back in Feb. and I never got around to digging up the dots. I'll correct that. Sorry!
