I've been diligently prepping for the Chris Sands course at this year's BMG Summer School and one of the pieces is Transatlantique by Tarrent Bailey Junior.

Tarrent wrote the piece in 1958 and dedicated it to the American Banjo Fraternity.

I've played all the parts here, but it would be great for folks to come help us play all the parts and all the other great tunes Chris has for us at the weekend. It's from the 14th to 16th June at Higham Hall in Cumbria.

Nice playing.  I have a zither-banjo once owned by him. (it's a William Temlett Senior, and the name 'Tarrant Bailey 31/1/48' is hidden away on the inside.  NB the spelling of his first name.  Yes, I know he usually played a Weaver).  So thank you very much for putting it on.  Greatly enjoyed.

Best Wishes,

BJ.
