The wind up Irish reel - A. Baur (Edited by Rob Mackillop)

A tune from "The Banjoist Budget" of A. Baur. I followed the scores from the Rob Mackillop´s edition. There are several great tunes for playing in a future!

Well Marc...Honestly, I just don´t know an answer (I am working in order to have a better musical ear)...a musician friend of mine told me that my banjo was "desoctavado" (for example: it sounds a little different a C note in the 12th fret of it should sound at that place): two possible explanations: (1) a bad string set...I am using my final sets of steel strings (the moisture seriously affect them here) for the banjo (my goal is buying nylon strings following an advice of Mike Moss); (2) I have a really crappy banjo lol (Another goal for next year...giving a new step buying a new banjo)...it´s a Savannah banjo...the cheapest banjo I could afford at banjo.com
