bravo but you should try light gauge strings ; the banjo will sound better ; i feel like you have pain on these medium strings

I usually agree with you, Marc. But I think Carrie might sound (and feel) even better playing on heavy strings.  The resistance of the strings to the touch of the fingers is part of the sound I like in her playing.  (Carrie, I hope you don't mind us talking about you "in front of your back" so to speak)

Thank you for your encouraging words - I might be able work on more efficient finger movement and experiment with different strings.  I guess whatever works and feels comfortable.

Ian, I am currently learning 'Whistling Rufus' and am finding your video showing the A part very helpful. You get some great snaps!
