The Columbian March "Paul Eno " on Ballard Banjers "Classic Banjo model"

Excellent! Hard to play but easy to enjoy.
May I make a suggestion? you have what I think is a particularly good sounding banjo. It will sound even better if you remove the clip-on tuner from the peghead. The peghead of a banjo, as part of the neck, vibrates when the strings are played. Squeezing it with a tuner suppresses the vibration. Most banjo players do not believe this to be so but if you record yourself playing a few notes with a free peghead and the same notes with the tuner clipped on the peghead you will hear the difference immediately when you listen to the recording. From behind the banjo (where the player is) the difference is less obvious. From in front it's not a small difference.
Excellent playing. I can tell that you love the instrument and the music.
I love Marches on the banjo.
Thank you so much for posting!
I believe Jody means that the "tuner banjo électrique" on the peg head may "damp" the sound of the banjo. It is better to remove it when you are playing... right Jody?
thank you Ian :) :) :)
actually the tuner on the head cut vibration...i often forget to take it off...and it's ugly :D
yes that's what I meant, Ian. And yes, Anthony, that's what I meant : cutting vibration. And I agree it's ugly but I wasn't going to say that! anyway I enjoyed your playing very much and I think you have a special banjo and that you know how to get good sound from it.
