Now here is something you don't see very often...Tarrant Bailey Junior recordings openly available on Youtube..FREE !  I wonder of Chris Sands knows?  ;-)

TBj has a "clean", "crisp" and distinct quality, and played just like this in live performances when I knew him in the 1970's.

His tone is difficult to describe, but "nasal" or "rasping", probably a characteristic of his Weaver banjo, just about sums it up. He really was a master of the Classic style.
