bravo_well played ; you are just missing the Fm6  chord at the end of the 2nd part ; this chord is very important for the " mood " of the tune ; and you will re find the same one in many others tunes ( Whistling Rufus ;;;;; etc )

Check  string 1 / open & strings 2 &3  fretted 1st fret instead of the open G chord : best @+m

 I agree with Marc that you may have miss-read a chord:

D, C, A flat     a     0 1 1 chord

Keep them coming. Kansas Jig is a great tune and not that easy to play (for me anyway!)

Yes, I certainly missed that one somehow!  I must have misread it early on, memorized that way, and my ear never picked up on it all the times I went back to Patricia & Eric Stefanelli's amazing version.  Thanks Marc and Ian!
