This one is above my pay grade but I wanted to show off my Grand Concert that I've had since the Fall ABF Rally.

Brilliant - it takes proper dedication to learn something like that - and  the CE sounds great.

Hey Joel,

Above your pay grade?    ... Ask for a rise!  This is one tricky piece and you made a really good job of it. I recorded my shabby attempt some time ago falling over my fingers on several occasions, and it doesn't get any easier!  Even "Fifthless Frank Lawes" couldn't play this without the odd G on the 5th string !!!!!

For those who don't know, Frank Lawes played Classic Style on a Clifford Essex Paragon.... with ONLY 4 strings!  So he didn't have the benefit of the 5th string G.   It is a good job that we do, eh Joel?

Great work and a particularly fine "right hand technique" !

Hi Ian, I've watched your video a few times and I am glad that I have someone to share in with the struggle.

I noticed you threw in some Bill Ball style runs in your playing... nice!

I feel I was just doing good to get most of the notes from the page out of the banjo.

Thank you for the complement on my right hand.  I have been working at that and slowly getting smoother.
