Hallowe’en Dance, Walter Burke, 1920 Classic Banjo

As far as I have been able to discover, this is the only “Classic era” banjo piece that is expressly Halloween themed. There are plenty of supernatural themed pieces but no others that mention Halloween by name.

Performed on an early Alfred Weaver with metal fingerboard and Labella Nylon strings.

This number also appears as “Pajama Dance” in the “Mel Bay Banjo Method” by Frank C. Bradbury from 1967.
