This is a track from my new CD called "Elegant Plunk". It is a compilation of 16 tracks written for the banjo in the style of the mid 19th Century. This track featured is called "Hook's Helix Rag." It is named for the wonderful banjoist and scholar Joel Hooks. Many of the tracks pay homage to different active players in the community. It is danceable....and sleepable.
