LLet´s start a banjo tradition for Christmas!. Two of the most famous carols in Christmas (I know, there are thousands of these carols on banjo): "O Tannenbaum" ("O Fir Tree") whose lyrics were written by the German composer Ernst Anschütz, based on a traditional folk song. Finally, the incredibly popular "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht" ("Silent Night") from the Austrian organists Franz Xaver Gruber. With almost 200 year old, this song was proclaimed an intangible cultural heritage by the UNESCO at 2011. I had a crappy version of "The Little Drummer Boy" but I decided to wait to next year....my goal will be to perform carols from Latin America too.
