Hey Banjo lovers! Old City Coffee is so pleased to join you in this online community. We are a Philadelphia-based coffee roasting company and cafe in operation since 1985. Our cafe on 221 Church Street in the Old City section of Philadelphia is the site of the SS Stewart Banjo Factory. We have always been proud of the rich history of our space and are making efforts to spread the banjo love in our community. One of these efforts is currently a proposal to have the site marked in the national historic registry. In addition, we host music performances and open mic nights. Needless to say, we would LOVE to have banjo players perform at our cafe! We hope you will too.
