Hi Martin - After much searching and information from various sources 0n Classic Banjo there was a lot of information provided including the fact that Tom went to Plymouth for lessons on the train. It would not be possible today as there is no longer a train that runs anywhere from Launceston. We have to travel to Plymouth or Exeter, by road, to get a mainline train to anywhere. I was aware that Joe George composed the "Kissing Cup Waltz". I would like to know more of what you and my father talked about as I am trying to find as much information as possible and maybe if I get enough information together I can write a Biography and get it published somewhere. I have quite a bit already but realistically not enough to write a book. There are none of his brothers and sisters left alive although his 5 children are still in the land of the living as are several of our cousins. I would like to hear more about how you came to meet him etc. and where you live now.
