This is a recent photograph of the entrance to Cammeyer's one time studio in Jermyn Street. Cammeyer once said of Parke Hunter, "I knew that he had music in him, as soon as I heard him improvising in my studio, he asked me if he could join our teaching staff, but he was mixed up with a class of person I couldn't possibly have coming up my stairs". Cam's wife lived on Jermyn Street, possibly at No.14, her father was a jeweller, so she was, almost certainly, well feathered, as they say.
