The address was designed to give the impression that Cammeyer had premises on prestigious Jermyn Street whereas his studio was actually on Duke of York Street which is a side street off Jermyn Street. You will sometimes find this address printed on Cammeyer sheet music with the addition "Entrance in York Street" again, a bit of a misleading statement, as the address is Duke of York Street. Cammeyer also had another address on Jermyn Street at one time, No. 14. This may have had something to do with the father of his wife, Annie Vaughan Hughes, whose father had a jewellery business on Jermyn Street.
