Beautiful ; ; strangely , this banjo was for sale in France ; the guy had it from his uncle ; it ' s looks like to be an early one ; on this one , you have to take off the velum before to

disassemble the neck from the rim .

What a beautiful banjo. The 12" Weavers have a sound tone. I think that the oak hoop createsthe distinctive sound. I have never tried to play on a fretless banjo...  is it as difficult as I imagine it to be?
