No just built the cello banjo, and also thePatricia's banjo who is a copy of Bacon F.F. Proffessional, and also made a new neck for guitar banjo...Only ! But i made many copies of fairbanks electrics. I plan to make also some clads pots 12 " inches to make some copies of S.S. Stewart 13" pot grand concert some next months.
I've finished a new 13" pot fretless flush frets banjo, it's sound good !
I will put some photos of this 13" pot fretless bjo next.

Do you make the tone rings for the Bacon and Electric? It's been tried in America and the Bacon copies are very close in sound to the originals but so far not the scalloped Electric/Whyte Laydie ones which do sound good but not the same as the old ones. I know it can be done because Clifford Essex made the same tone ring and it sounded as good or better.
Yes Jody you'r right ! Copies of old bacon tonerings are near the olds but new whyte Laydie are not very good as i know, SCALLOPED PART IS TOO THICK and the metal turned over was german silver, now it is brass covered with nickel, iy is vry bad, i have some feets of german silver at home, i found and see one Gold Tone with a clad pot but it is not made of german silver, but it is made of sleeve brass covered with nickel, this alloy is not very clear, just good for playing some frailling, but the sound is bad. i will try to make fairbanks "electric " pots, at this time, i'm studying the best way for making a speening weel. I've bought recently a good Fairbanks "Electric" #3, it need some restorations, particulary the inlays, and peghead, i can take some measurements, and begin to work for a new one.
Hello Rob ! I will put some photos of my 13" inches fretless banjo, i'm waiting for next week to do that.
