I love those Silver Bell banjos.. Is that an original 5 string?

It's a replica made by White Mountain Banjos here in Arizona, where I live. I would say more of a tribute than an attempt to make a copy, but it has a wonderfully mellow tone when fingerpicked in classic style. A very enjoyable banjo to play.

I sort of knew really, as the peghead and MOP are wrong. It is interesting to hear of its origins.

I wondered if they used an original Silver Bell pot assembly with f hole resonator, or it is all repro?

I have a Silver Bell, but the earlier type with the small round holes (1923) in the resonator flange.

Great banjos.
