I built this banjo in 1975-76. The neck is made from laminated slabs of walnut and maple with aluminum t brace down the middle. Ebony fingerboard. The resonator is from Richelieu, and the pot us unknown to me. After over 40 years, the neck is as straight as the day I built it. I followed the example of A.O. Windsor and ran the 5th string down a tube in the neck. Makes it great playing for both 5 string and plectrum style. At the time I was playing in the First Arizona Banjo Band. The band consisted of a piano player, base player, and anywhere from 5 to 25 banjos plectrum and tenor, depending on the time of year. This is the first and only banjo I have made.
