Putting a nylon strings on a banjo

I have an open back Epiphone MB100 banjo.

Which nylon strings should i put on it to play a classic style banjo?

Do i have to change something on my banjo?

I would recomend using Clifford Essex medium guage as a starting point:

you should also look at your bridge - a two foot thin maple bridge gives a more authentic tone than a conventional three legged ebony top.
