Bella Fleck is taking part in this concert streamed live tonight. 7pm CST. I think this means about 1am tonight UK - bit confused !

I stayed up and watched this. I was not expecting classic banjo, but I think anything that pushes the boundries of of the banjo is interesting.

The banjo was a 5 steel string strungGibson, played with fingerpicks. The perfomance was a triumph of virtuosity but I think suffered from this. Too many very high speeed runs up and down the fingerboard.
