I would like to express my thanks to @thereallyniceman and all the others who contribute to this website and forum. I've been learning classic banjo pieces for about ten months since a chance conversation about banjo set-up led me to try nylon strings and a classic-style bridge on one of my banjos. I was amazed at the improvement in tone and ease of play compared to the steel strings I'd been using for many years. Then I found this site and realized that the classic banjo pieces were a natural extension to my interest in ragtime music.

It's been a pleasure to find all of the great scores in the music library, and the lessons and videos posted by members of this site have helped make the music accessible for a newcomer to the style. For those who have worked to share this information, you are doing important work to keep this music alive, and it's greatly appreciated!
