STOP PRESS:  Classic Banjo is NOT dead, and neither is Ragtime !!!!

Dr. H sent me a copy of his own ragtime composition for Banjo and guitar:

Dr. H describes the piece as:

"written with guitar accompaniment, but it can be, and has been played also as a banjo solo.  The tuning is bluegrass-style (low D instead of low C), as that's what I was most familiar with at the time.

While the piece is technically under copyright (to me), I would like to make
it freely available, without restriction, to members of the classic banjo site
(assuming there's any interest).

I've attached PDF files of the score, the solo banjo part, and the optional
guitar part.  I can also provide a MIDI file, if you like.  Unfortunately I
don't have an actual banjo recording of the piece at this time; haven't played
it myself in years, and I'd have to practice a bit before I could do that.
(And when I do I hope to try it with nylon strings.)

I should add that the title is a sort of left-handed reference to Scott Joplin
and his "Elite Syncopations".  ;)

Thank you Dr. H. I have added the score, with the banjo accompaniment to the MUSIC LIBRARY for all to download "totally free".
