Tom, David & Trapdoor,
I greatly appreciate your help with my string problem. I went with the Aquila Classical Banjo light tension and am thrilled with the feel, action, and sound. I couldn't find any here in Denver, so I called Bernunzio and talked with Robbie who also plays Piccolo banjo. He confirmed your suggestions and gave me a bunch of good pointers as well...I've always had wonderful help from the gang at Bernunzio! I was a bit stumped at exactly how to attach the loop-less/ball-less string, couldn't find any information on the internet, so I just went with a simple square knot, it holds, but if you gentlemen have "the correct" way to attach these Aquila strings to a Stewart tailpiece, I would love to learn it!
Well, again thank you all for your help, I am having a great time with this little thing!
Sincerely, Dana
