Hello John
I was passed this discussion from my friend, Frank Coyne, a pupil and friend of Eddie, and hence my interest. Eddie was my dad and I have lots of recordings of him but would always like to hear other ones. I can let you have a copy of some of my recordings (maybe there is a mechanism for uploading to this site?). They need to be equalised as they were done many years ago

Hi Paul,This is great. Your dad and I became great friends in the hospital. We used to talk late into the evening about all sorts of things. He was going to teach me the banjo when we got out of hospital but sadly it wasn't to be but he left me with a great love to this day for 5-string banjo music. The cassette recording has been sitting in my drawer for a long time and have been meaning to do something about it. I would love to have further recordings. I uploaded my recording to Dropbox and shared the link to the website administrator, Ian. This could be the way to go about it. It has been lovely to make this connection after all the years.
