Riverside Schottische & The Melrose Polka

Two F. B. Converse tunes, from the Analytical, 1886, pages 57 and 58. I was inspired to learn them from the inimitable playing of Mr. Hezekiah Urastus Anderton.

Well played, nice melodies - the first tune sounds very similar to Jubilee/Kingdom Coming.

Excellent playing and the banjo sounds great too!  Old Frank certainly knew how to knock out a good tune.

I have not seen Carl,  Hezekiah's great, great, great, great, great grandson around for a while, but he can knock out a great tune too!

Thanks Carrie and Ian. That is for sure!  Every time he resurfaces on YouTube I’m in awe...

The Dobson is sounding good as always!  Round Robin tunes?
