This tune takes us back to the very beginnings of ragtime as it was the first published tune with ragtime in its title. Lyrics were later added by the composer's brother and it became a popular song of the time. In parts I've combined the piano LH and RH to arrive at an approximation that works on the banjo. The score and midi are in the library and also I've attached an MP3 to this discussion....Steve.
