This the only composition published by HW which is a great pity because this is a very good example of an early cakewalk and is yet another tune that could have been written for the banjo and is well worth a listen. I'd not heard it before but it must have been popular at some time as according to the title page, the publisher had made a full score for band or orchestra available. The diminished chord which features in the opening section could be dispensed with if it's not to your taste. The score and midi are in the library....Steve.
