This is my first post for nearly a month as I've been busy undertaking a major kitchen refurbishment on the instructions of she who is to be obeyed! She'll try anything to stop me playing my banjo!

I could find very little about the composer other than that he was a song writer and music publisher in New York in the early 1900s.  The title is named after a cartoon character of that era. It's a well written composition that in parts strays from the usual ragtime formula. It suits the banjo well and isn't too challenging to play. The score and midi are in the library...Steve.

I used to have a coffee-table book of Herriman's "Krazy Kat" comics. The rag seems to fit!
