I came across the front cover of this tune whilst browsing Pinterest, it was published in London so I guess the composer may be British. So far, I haven't been able to find any info on the web, does anyone know of this?...Steve.

I remember that Tarrant Bailey Jnr had a banjo marked 'W Nice' so he might appear in Sharpe's list of banjo makers in the B.M.G.

I believe I might have some more compositions by this elusive W. Nice, let me check my computer this evening.

I have also remembered that he sang a song called 'She Greases Her Socks with Margarine', I may have a copy of the front cover of the sheet music which features Mr. Nice playing his banjo. I'll try to find it tomorrow.

I also found a few pieces by W.Nice iin Turner's Banjo Budget. 316. Chiltonian, 319. Lancastrian Polka, 346. Wanderer's Challenge,  348. Royal Bogie, 350. Oxford and Cambridge March, 354. Royal Henley March,

Hi Richard, thanks for that, would you be able to scan some of those for the library?...Steve

Hello Steve, Sorry, I haven't got any of them, I just went through the Turner BB list of banjo solos and found the titles. There may be others which I didn't see. I remembered the song, because of its unusual title but I only have the front cover.

Thanks Richard, at least we've learned something about the elusive Mr. Nice....Steve.
