The best thing about The Syncopated Times is the record reviews and related new discoveries (to me)....

Hi Carrie, what a good publication and well worth 3 dollars a month. (on line)...Steve.

I have waited to comment on this because I wanted to be sure, and now I am.

How hard would it have been to put "Photo published in issue 109 of the American Banjo Fraternity's "5 Stringer", August 1971"?

That is where they got it because this is my scan, the crease down the middle is in my copy of this issue where it was folded in half.  It also exactly matches my scan of the issue.

It is okay that they used it, but I would have liked them to give the ABF some credit.  I think I might write to them about it.

What happened to journalistic integrity and citing sources?

LOL, citing sources went out with the advent of the internet. Strunk & White are both dead. Actually, I think the APA stylebook is now the most common.

"Journalistic Integrity"? Isn't that one of those oxymorons like "military intelligence"?
