Very nice playing, you've got the real Cammeyer ZB tone.

Very nice playing indeed.  You have a Vibrante! ... I had one in 1975, and sold it...silly me!!!

Thanks alot, Carrie! I have the feeling that there is very much one can do with a Vibrante, that I as of yet am not able to do,  and in the hands of a really good player would be a truly wonderfull instrument. It really is quite a different zither banjo than the other ones I have.

Thank you, Ian. Yes, I got it recently from Keith Wilson. It was a bit of a nerv wrecking few weeks, as it came to me damaged from transport (no fault of Keiths!). Maybe I'll make a post about it. I can't really see myself ever selling this instrument. Unless something even better shows up around the corner...And even then probably not. :-)

Congratulations Par - I am so glad to see you got the Vibrante in the end, although I'm disappointed to hear about the damage in shipping. Nevertheless, you seem to have fixed any problems as the banjo sounds beautiful. Well done !!

Thanks alot, David! And thanks for making it possible in the first place.

Yes, I brought it to Karsten Schnoor in Hamburg, who did a very good job of putting it back in playing order.

Here's how it looked when it arrived:

And after the repair:

So I'm pretty happy in the end.

Hearing you play is starting to change my mind on zither banjos.

Joel, I'm gonna assume that you don't like zither banjos very much and say thank you! :-)
