This is a very tuneful two step written by another composer about whom I could find very little information. I kept the arrangement simple by stripping out all the chords and using just single notes. It works well and is not too challenging to play. The score and midi are in the library.

Ah...one of my favorite early newspaper cartoons. "And her name was Maud" was created by F. B. Opper, who is more famous for his "Happy Hooligan" and "Alphonse and Gaston" cartoons. Maud was really just a one-trick-mule (stubborn...and any attempt to punish turns into mule mayhem with her owner being launched in the end).

I once found a "Maud" book in a local antique shop. The cover was missing so I didn't buy it ($15!)...but I should have as it is quite the rare item.
