well it arrived today and, I am going to start in on it very soon, for a total novice it does look a little daunting however, nothing ventured nothing gained as they say ! it does say on the cover "free audio available online" but never mentions how to access this feature, anybody have any ideas here ? I think I shall need all the help I can get.

Call me an enabler but you will find it any way once you figure out  (Click over here)--->  where to look.  <----- (Click back there)

By the way, I remember Mel Bay's music store in Kirkwood Missouri.  I never darkened its door. Had I only knew what I was missing.  Actually I do double check my struggles with the sound files.  I have a long way to go.  At least know I know where they hid the notes on the banjo.

I also just started the Mel Bay Banjo Method book....in addition to those files Mr. MacKillop as made available the exercises at the bottom of his article at this link:  https://robmackillop.net/bradbury-studies/

I would recommend listening to the recordings after you can play the exercise or piece.

This will remove the reliance on "ear playing" and will allow the student to compare their playing to the recording so check their work and progress.

just what I intended to do Joel, I know that I will tend to just  copy the audio by ear otherwise. was just curious to know what I might have been missing had I never investigated the audio.
