played on a George Houghton and sons Zither banjo. I'm in gDGBD tuning and key of D for this one.

First vid of new zither banjo!  I think I could work on the dynamics a bit more - am too focused on hitting the right notes (more inlays than I am used to :)

Well done Carrie!

Dealing with a new set of inlays is always a problem for me too. I guess I'm more visual than I care to admit.

Your ZB sounds quite nice. Unfortunately, your voice is soft and right in the middle of my lost frequencies...no idea what you've said in the video. No worries though.

Thanks Marc, you haven't missed much - I was just babbling softly about what the heck a zither banjo is (for the uninitiated).  Hope you are enjoying your retirement and getting plenty of banjo time.

Sadly, all the banjos are 500mi east in the new home. Miz Diane keeps me packing boxes... I don't think I'll get back to playing before February or March.

Well done Carrie! Be great to see you at some of the Rallies next year.

PM me and I'll sort out the string issue you had with CE.
