This is a pleasant tune and very much of it's time. It wouldn't have looked out of place in one of the early banjo tutors and it could easily have been written for the banjo. I've made a few amendments and banjofied a few bars and the end result makes for a tuneful banjo solo which is not too much of a challenge to play. The identity of the composer remains a mystery, I could find no other music written by her. The score and midi are in the library...Steve.

That is a nice little tune. Well done!

I love early auto-related tunes...and have a good bit of related sheet-music. No banjo stuff though!

Hi marc, maybe you could send me a couple of your scores and I'll see if I can banjofy them..Steve.

There's a couple of them on Perfesser Bill's site...which means MIDI and mp3 versions are available.

"Automobile Two Step" by Rose de Haven

"Gasoline Rag" by Louis Mentel (this has a great cover)

I had to zip the two pdf files in order to get them under 5mb to load.
