Skeleton Dance on a fretless minstrel banjo

Skeleton dance, Norton Greenop, circa 1900. Played on my civil war era replica banjo... as if the tune isnt scary enough ive decided to play on a fretless......

Cool! Love the octagonal banjo.

I was out on the porch playing this (quite loudly) on the Cello-Banjo Tuesday evening and my neighbor came over to ask me if I'd play it when the kids come by for trick or treat. He said it was the first time he could actually hear me playing...I usually pick quietly.

We need to get Joel to publish his collection of Spooky tunes for the banjo.

Thanks Mike, yes its my favourite at the moment (until i make another)

Thanks Trapdoor. It really suits being played on a low tuned instrument. Thatd be so cool during trick or treat... i hope you dress up suitably. And yes to Joels spooky tunes!
