Rob could well be the best classic-banjo player today. It all seems so effortless.

Is that the new CE Weaver?

Rob sent this video a few months ago and I have never got around to posting it..but here it is. A bit of Al Fresco practice for Rob.  This is 100% genuine live playing with a few warts, but who cares?  ;-)

Joe Morley's "The Gunners March". Morley certainly knew how to compose them and Rob certainly  knows how to play them.  Don't you just love Classic Style Banjo?

Rob is playing on his "home made" banjo using an old Temlett hoop bought for £40 (a prize for the banjo with more tension hooks!), and a new neck that he had made by Brook Guitars from old flooring maple boards recycled from his local Village Hall.

He stole it from me. Proof? It's got my initials on the headstock!
