I don't know the exact date of publication for "Banjo Blues", but I'm assuming early 1920s. Does anyone know for sure?

I wonder how many compositions with Blues in the title (not just for banjo) were composed by English composers before this one...

Fun!

I would imagine there were quite a few "blues" tunes popping up by the 20s...all over.

Fun, indeed, and not hard to play.

The British Blues Boom was earlier than we thought!

Hi Rob, if you search the library under blues, you'll find 11 arrangements that I've written for classic blues tunes. My particular favourite is Graveyard Blues which was composed in 1912 bt Clarence Woods. There are two versions, the most recent and the better of the two is listed first. It's a great tune and not to much of a challenge on the fingers.....Steve.
