Antique Five String Banjo Titled The Comet Barrilo, and Invented & Mfg. by a Geo L. Thayer on Jan. the 1st in the Year of 1910. It also comes with a Nice Case. It is being sold in as-is condition. Because it is missing it's Top Skin, it's Tailpiece,it's Top Nut,The fifth string tuner, the star inlaid on it's fretboard, and the back plate that goes on the back of the neck where it meets the Pot.

Now this Banjo looks to be a Real Neat one. It has 18 Frets along with Fancy Inlaids Markers on it's Ebony Fretboard, and it's Straight Neck. The Neck from the top nut to the pot is 20 inches tall, and it also has a Real Nice Brass Plate on the end of it's neck telling all about it. Now the Headstock from the front looks like it is cracked but it is NOT cracked, that is only the front cover pieve on it's headstock. Next the loose circle that you see in my photos is made of wood, and it fits right over the circle hole in the back resinator, and will contact with the top skin when it is in place. The top skin will need to be 11 1/2 inches across.

This whole Banjo is 37 inches Tall, and it is 12 1/2 inches Wide.
That will make some banjo whe…tag:classic-banjo.ning.com,2012-11-30:2667446:Comment:665572012-11-30T20:34:49.983Zthereallynicemanhttps://classic-banjo.ning.com/profile/thereallyniceman

That will make some banjo when restored! I have never seen anything like that before. It looks very well made.

Go on Jody, you know that you simply MUST have it.
