Hi Trapdoor, Do you have a Banjo TAB available for the The Royal Schottische? Best regards. Frank

    Dear Trapdoor2,

I wonder if I might add you to my list of friends?  This is because I've followed your comments on classic-banjo ning ever since I've been a member and find you extremely knowledgeable.  You are one of those rare persons who appear to know a great deal about zither-banjos, and these have been an overriding passion of mine for most of my 87 years.

People like you are becoming fewer and fewer.  In my young day I knew old men in their 70's and 80's who had actually worked in the factories of Temlett (Senior and Junior) and Windsor.  (I can actually recall being told that the Windsor factory had been been burned down in a Luftwaffe air-raid and so I couldn't have the banjo I wanted for my fifth birthday.)   Now I'm finding that accurate knowledge on zither-banjos is becoming almost as rare as hen's teeth, and I'm desperate to record as much info on these instruments before it's too late.

I also have quite a collection of ZB's, some of which are so rare that virtually nothing is known about them.

Sincerely hope you might be able to consider my request.  I promise not to become a nuisance!

    Best Wishes,

Jake Glanville aka Black Jake of Norwich, England.
