Did I see that you have a tab for Heliotrope Bouquet? I'd LOVE to take a crack at that!
  • Ray Jones

    Hi Marc.
We didn't record that track during the heat wave. As a matter of fact I found it in the attic! ( would you believe )

Thanks for pointing that out Marc, I enjoyed listening to it. May I add my congrats to Gavin on his rendition. Beautifully done, and with picks if I'm not mistaken. This puts you up there with the best of 'em Gavin. Keep at it.

Hi Marc ... I really like your video of Sunflower Dance ... Can you point me in the direction for finding the sheet music for that tune? Tab would work too.

    Thanks very much,
    Best,
    Adam

Calm down mate, you'll have a siezure if you are not careful. You may be surprised to learn that there could have been as many as 5 or 6 blokes named Ernest Jones living in Wales at the time, and a few Ernest Smith's as well, I shouldn't wonder.
  • Ray Jones

Oh, I see!!! I didn't realise that you were talking about " THE " John Smith, that's a different thing altogether. Best Wishes to thee.
  • Carl Anderton

    Happy Birthday, my friend.

Good to be here, Marc! Thanks for turning me on to this forum, and thanks so very much for patiently going over Sunflower Dance about four and a half million times at the Gathering in Nashville this past weekend. My first classic banjo piece! :) Clarke did a workshop at my house on Sunday, and we ran through Green Corn, Fandango, Fandango Gallop and a bunch of other pieces that esacpe me at present. So I am now well on my way to becoming the next Ossman or Van Epps. Too bad that pesky day job cuts into my practice time so much...

Marc; Thanks so much for answering my quest for Eli Greens Cakewalk.

I'd like the music if you have it. I,ve been spending more time on the site lately and have found your videos very inspirational. Have a great day.

Hi Marc . I have slowly going through four little black berries learning about 8 to 12 bars at a time . I think bar 29 in the tab the a should be a+ . all the rest i think is spot on . I am asking because  i think Trevor down loaded it as well.

  • Alan Sims
