I was taught by Tarrent Bailey Jnr when I was about 11,My late father Brian Jacklin was the conductor of the showboat Orchestra in the 1970s He then went on to conduct many bmg Orchestras the most recent being The Jacklin Cheshire Frets Orchestra. My daughter Tandie Stahl is now taking over in his footsteps and will be the new conductor as my dad so wished . ive been a member of my dads orchetras since I was 10 and in that time got to meet many great people such as Tarrent Bailey Jnr,Bill Ball and Chris Sands who used to stay at my dads house all the time when I was about 11.I am learning to play all over again as I lost it along the way kids and all that .Does any one know Chris Sands I wanted to contact him to let him know about my dad and that he has passed away

I think the last time we met was at the Crewe BMG Rally, you played 'Pompadour' and I think I played 'Twinkletoes' in the G A Keeler competition. We are currently in Cyprus and I am still playing the banjo, I also play in a band 'Stringfellas' we play jigs, reels, polka's, marches, tango, rags, Irish, folk, Bluegrass and also some of my finger style pieces. You will get lots of help with finding music on this site, it is so much easier than years ago when we had to rummage through dusty cardboard boxes at banjo rallies or if you were lucky enough to find any in 'junk shops'.
A video of someone playing Egyptian Princess would be very helpful it always helps to hear someone else play it to give me a better idea of what it should sound like can any one help me out with this
