Okay experts, what was the orignial number/title or work of this?
I guess it could just be a lie and Sheaff either composed it, or did not know where he got it. Would not be the first example of this.

On a similar note, I don't suppose you know who wrote the two preludes, marked 'Arranged', in Converse's Analytical Banjo Method?
No clue but they are both very good and the A minor one is super weird. I played it at the last ABF rally.
